Ehsaas Scholarship Program For the first time in the history of Pakistan and the history of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), the Prime Minister, Mr. Imran Khan, and the Chairman of PTI announced the Scholarship Program. The program aims to help 50,000 students from middle-class families who struggle with education expenses and cannot afford hostel fees.
Over the next four years, this initiative is expected to benefit over 200,000 students. Over the past 14 years, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has awarded 30,000 undergraduate scholarships. Currently, an impressive 50,000 students from low-income families are awarded scholarships every year in all four provinces including Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Sindh, and Punjab.
