Ehsaas Scholarship Program For the first time in the history of Pakistan and the history of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), the Prime Minister, Mr. Imran Khan, and the Chairman of PTI announced the Scholarship Program. The program aims to help 50,000 students from middle-class families who struggle with education expenses and cannot afford hostel fees.

Over the next four years, this initiative is expected to benefit over 200,000 students. In Pakistan, higher education is seen as an important route out of poverty, especially after completing intermediate education. Unfortunately, only 0.4% of children from middle-class families in our country can access higher education, which is much lower than the national average of 10%.

The main objective of the Program is to eliminate disparity in educational opportunities and provide deserving students with the opportunity to pursue higher education without financial barriers.

Over the past 14 years, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has awarded 30,000 undergraduate scholarships. Currently, an impressive 50,000 students from low-income families are awarded scholarships every year in all four provinces including Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Sindh, and Punjab. 

To be eligible for the Ehsaas scholarship phase 3 last date, a student’s annual household income should be less than Rs 45,000. Over the next four years, an estimated 200,000 students will benefit from the program.

Ehsaas Scholarship 2024 Last Date

The Ehsaas Scholarship Program not only covers the full educational expenses. It also provides a monthly stipend of 4,000 rupees ($50). Recently, the program expanded its reach to include public universities in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, for Rs. 24 billion euros. On March 2, the Prime Minister will launch the first phase of this 24 billion award, which will recognize and reward the brightest and most deserving students across Pakistan.

Students who are studying and want to continue their studies after Intermediate. So they should first check their eligibility through the HEC Scholarship Portal. The eligibility check procedure is very easy. You are given the below Hec portal, within this portal you have to enter your National Identity Card number or Bay form. Enter the password.
