BISP Internship – Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria for the BISP Internship Program:
- Educational Qualification: 16 years HEC recognized degree or three-year equivalent Diploma with minimum 50% marks or 2.5 CGPA in Matric, FSC, Final Degree, or Diploma.
- Internship Duration and Salary: Selected interns will work for three to six months with a fixed salary of Rs 10,000 per month, subject to maintaining an 80% attendance record.
- Age Limit: Applicants should be between 20 to 30 years of age at the time of submission of application.
- Female Candidates Encouraged: Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply for the internship program.
- Eligibility for Madrasah Graduates: Madrasah graduates are also eligible to apply for this program.
- The quota for Disabled Applicants: A two percent quota is reserved for disabled applicants.
- The quota for Minorities: A five percent quota is reserved for persons belonging to minority groups.
These eligibility criteria and quotas have been established to ensure inclusion and diversity within the BISP Internship Programme, encouraging participation from various segments of society.
BISP internship Internship Conditions:
The conditions associated with the BISP Internship Program are:
- The internship duration covers a minimum of three months and a maximum of six months. Hours of operation will follow standard practices.
- During the internship period, interns are not allowed to consult with the BISP Secretariat.
- Interns are not considered official staff members of the Secretariat, and therefore, any agreement between the intern and the Secretariat regarding allowances does not apply.
- A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Universities/ Institutions and BISP for undergraduate interns participating in the program.
- Undergraduate students who maintain an 80% attendance rate may receive an additional six to eight-week internship opportunity provided by BISP, with no obligation to a future commitment.
