Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has approved the issuance of “Himmat card” for disabled people in Punjab province. Govt Punjab Distributes Himmat Cards
Government of Punjab will start giving financial assistance amount of Rs 10500 to eligible disabled people from September 15, 2024 through Himmat Card. ATM cards will be provided to 65000 disabled people through Bank of Punjab. Through which they will be able to get their money at any time.
In the first phase of Himmat card, money will be given to 40,000 special people. And while in the second phase, money will be given to 25,000 special people. And eligible persons will be able to withdraw this amount from Bank of Punjab anytime without any deduction.

Steps to Apply for the “Himmat Cards” Scheme
Registration procedure for Himmat Card has started. If you have not yet verified your registration, you can do so now. The government has developed a portal, through which you can complete your registration. Go to this portal and enter your name, ID number, email, and other necessary information and confirm the registration.
After the registration is complete, you will be called for a check-up, which will be free of charge. After that, Bank of Punjab will issue you Himmat Card. If you can’t register online, don’t worry. You can call helpline 1312 for guidance.
Who benefits from the Himmat Card in Punjab
An eligibility criteria has been set for availing financial assistance through Himmat Card. Only people with disabilities who meet these criteria will be registered, and then they will be able to access the money.
The Eligibility Criteria are: Before registering, please ensure that you meet the following conditions:
- You are a permanent resident of Punjab.
- You must have a Disability Identity Card issued by NADRA.
- Your disability certificate must be presented.
- As per NSER survey, your PMT score should be less than 40.
- No member of your household should be a government employee
- You are not receiving assistance from any government agency like Baitul-Mal etc.
How To Get 10,500 Himmat Card Payment
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that it is easy to get financial assistance once registered in Himmat card scheme. After registration, you will get Himmat Card from Bank of Punjab. This card will allow you to withdraw your money every month. This time on September 15, an amount of Rs 10,500 is being provided through Hemat Card.

To withdraw this amount, visit a Bank of Punjab ATM with your Hemat Card. Insert your card and check your account balance. If the balance has increased, select the withdrawal option and enter the amount you wish to withdraw. Hit the OK button, and you’ll get your money instantly.
